Depositing
Once you've decided on a vault, you'll need to connect your wallet to the FNDZ app. Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top left corner.
Before you make a deposit, please make sure you have BNB tokens in your wallet to pay for transaction fees.
- 1.To make a deposit, press the “Deposit” button in the top right corner of a vault’s page. You will see a pop-up window that looks like this:
If you are using FNDZ for the first time, you need to approve the app. This is required only once. Click “Unlock” and then “Unlock Permanently”. Next, click “Confirm” in your MetaMask wallet and wait for the transaction to complete.
Please note: there is a small gas fee for this action. Please make sure you have BNB tokens in your wallet to pay for gas.
2. Vaults have what's called a “Denomination Asset”. This is the asset that you must use to make a deposit. In the example above, the denomination asset is USDT. Choose the amount you want to deposit and click “Deposit”.
3. Your wallet will open a pop-up window asking you to confirm. Click “Confirm” in your wallet. Please make sure you have BNB tokens in your wallet to pay for gas fees.
You can view the status of your deposit by clicking on “My Portfolio” in the left-hand menu. Once your deposit is successful, you will receive vault shares. The vault shares are your ownership stake in the vault. When you withdraw your funds, the shares will be swapped back into stablecoins.
Deposits must be made using the above steps. Do not send funds to a vault contract manually. They will appear in the vault, but you will not be able to redeem them.
